Embed CNH's Privacy Notice
Overview
CNH is required to share our privacy policy on every customer receipt/invoice. Dealers may print a QR code or a URL containing the privacy information along with identifying text.
QR Code Requirement
The QR Code or URL should be on all receipts/invoices: (including all tender types)
- Printed Receipt to in person customer
- Emailed Receipt from phone orders
- Mailed Receipt from phone orders
- Electronic Receipt from eCommerce site ( i.e. CNH Industrial eCommerce will display on checkout page)
Size Requirement for the QR Code
- There is no legal requirement on minimum or maximum sizes for QR codes.
- The minimum size for a QR code should be 2 x 2 cm in order to be scanned by most modern devices.
- For printed receipts/invoices the preference is to provide the QR code if possible
- For digital receipts/invoices (online/email) the preference is to provide a clickable link
Verbiage to be printed along with the QR Code or URL
- Receipt/Invoice with QR code:
“By making this purchase, you acknowledge and agree to CNH Industrial’s privacy practices as described in our Privacy Notice available through the [above/below] QR code.”
- Receipt/Invoice with url:
“By making this purchase, you acknowledge and agree to CNH Industrial’s privacy practices as described in our Privacy Notice available here (link).”
For customers in Quebec, Canada, print both the English and French text and Links/QR codes.- Receipt/Invoice with QR code:
"En effectuant cet achat, vous reconnaissez et acceptez les pratiques de CNH Industrial en matière de confidentialité telles que décrites dans notre Déclaration de confidentialité disponible via le code QR [ci-dessus/ci-dessous]."
- Receipt/Invoice with url:
"En effectuant cet achat, vous reconnaissez et acceptez les pratiques de CNH Industrial en matière de confidentialité telles que décrites dans notre Déclaration de confidentialité disponible ici (lien)."
